Hosting and operation of the website

We operate the website using WordPress hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. WordPress runs on this hosting space.

When you request a page, the connection and request data technically required to deliver it is transmitted to our hosting provider. This includes, in particular, your IP address, the requested address and the time of the request. It allows the website to be delivered and technical errors and attacks to be detected and addressed. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to operate an available and secure website.

IP-address truncation is enabled for access logging in the hosting account. The currently configured log retention period is 14 days. The logs are also used to produce access statistics. This server-side analysis operates independently of Google Analytics. Truncating IP addresses does not automatically make all information contained in the logs anonymous.

Contact by email, telephone or post

If you contact us, we use the contact details you provide and the content of your enquiry to address your request and, where applicable, prepare a working relationship. If the enquiry concerns a contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For business contact persons and other enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in handling and responding to the enquiry under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We retain enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any necessary follow-up. Where an enquiry becomes a business record subject to a retention obligation, or the data is needed to establish, exercise or defend specific legal claims, the relevant statutory obligations or necessity criteria apply. The data is deleted afterwards. Service providers engaged to operate our IT and email may receive the data necessary for those services.

You decide which information to share with us. Information needed to respond to an enquiry must be provided for that purpose; otherwise, we may be unable to address the request. Please do not send confidential conversation records, access credentials or extensive personal documentation through a general enquiry.

Cookies and external content

Technically necessary storage used for editorial login is separate from visitor registration. The website uses locally provided fonts and does not automatically load external video or social media content.

If you follow a regular link to an external website, you open a service offered by the respective operator. That operator's privacy notice applies there.

Optional website analytics with Google Analytics

If you allow optional statistics under “Privacy settings”, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse the use of our public information pages. We want to understand which content is visited and how we can improve the website. Without your consent, Google Analytics remains fully blocked: neither the analytics library is loaded nor analytics or consent information is sent to Google. The hosting provider's access statistics described separately remain independent of this.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. The data processing terms for Google Analytics apply. When analytics is enabled with your consent, Google receives technical device/browser information, the public pages visited and the usage events we have permitted. Pseudonymous identifiers may be stored in cookies to distinguish visits. This data is not equivalent to fully anonymous information. Your IP address is technically processed when the connection is established.

We do not use this analytics integration to transmit contact- or product-form entries, email addresses, conversation content or negotiation data. The public page addresses and page titles transmitted are sanitised to exclude URL query parameters, fragments, referrer information and campaign values. Analytics is not linked to a Vanellence product account or User-ID. Automatic enhanced event measurement, Google Signals, user-provided data collection and granular location and device data collection are disabled. Personalised advertising and linking to Google Ads are not covered by this consent.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where information is stored on or accessed from your device, section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) applies. Consent is voluntary. You can use the website without analytics and change your choice at any time under “Privacy settings”. Withdrawal applies for the future and stops further collection through our website. For data already transmitted, you may exercise your data protection rights by contacting info@david-friese.de.

The analytics cookies use the prefix ve_analytics. They distinguish visits and associate activity with the relevant session. They apply only to the respective website host and have a lifetime of no more than 30 days. Further visits do not renew that lifetime. We store your consent preference separately on your device for 180 days so that it can be respected on later visits.

Our Analytics configuration sets retention to two months for both user- and event-level data. New activity does not reset the retention period. This setting does not automatically limit all aggregated standard reports. Google provides further information under Analytics data retention.

Google uses affiliated companies and subprocessors to provide the service. Processing outside the European Union or European Economic Area, including in the United States, is possible. Google explains that transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and that certain other transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. Information about the relevant safeguards is available in Google's international data transfer information and its Data Processing Terms. You can also contact info@david-friese.de for information about our configuration.

Newsletter and product access

Newsletter subscription and user registration are not yet active on this website. Contacting us or visiting the website does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The applicable information will be added before these features are activated.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, and restriction of processing. Where the relevant conditions are met, you also have the right to data portability.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future. Please contact info@david-friese.de to exercise these rights.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For a company based in Baden-Württemberg, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg is generally the competent authority. Contact and complaint options. You may also contact a supervisory authority, in particular in the place of your habitual residence, your workplace or the place of the alleged infringement.
