GLOSSARY
Neuromorphic AI
Neuromorphic AI uses hardware and computing principles inspired by nervous systems, often processing information when events occur. This technical inspiration does not establish consciousness, human understanding or suitability for a particular sales task.
Connect the technical property to a customer problem
A supplier of industrial systems might need local analysis of sensor signals where power or network capacity is constrained. Energy consumption, response time and error rates would then be relevant customer outcomes. Whether neuromorphic technology fits depends on the method and deployment.
For preparation of a contract negotiation, the term alone establishes no value. Sales teams should first describe the customer's requirement and then explain which technical property addresses it. This keeps research potential, available functionality and tested operation distinguishable. It also gives procurement a concrete basis for comparing proposals instead of relying on an unfamiliar technology label.
Compare under equivalent conditions
Useful evidence compares complete systems on the same task. Include preprocessing, output quality and integration effort in the measurement. A benchmark advantage does not automatically transfer to a customer workflow. Availability of specialist skills, maintenance requirements and total cost of ownership over the intended operating period also belong in the investment decision.
