Structured output

A structured output organises an AI result into predefined fields and data types. This makes subsequent processing easier, for example in a CRM. Formally valid entries can still be incorrect, incomplete or unsupported by the original information.

Transfer meeting outcomes without false precision

After a customer conversation, the team wants to record the need, next action and expected timing. A fixed schema can reduce manual transfer. Problems arise when a required field demands a specific value even though the customer has not decided.

Responsible design therefore allows appropriate states for unknown, provisional or conflicting information. Business and technical teams need a shared definition of each field and the consequence of populating it. An estimated date should not silently become a binding delivery plan.

Assess format and substance separately

First check whether the output conforms to the agreed schema. Then compare its values, conditions and attribution with the source. Refusals and incomplete answers also need a defined handling process. Semantic fidelity and controlled downstream processing complement schema validation. Value appears as reduced transfer effort with sufficiently reliable records; technically accepted JSON alone does not establish that outcome.
